A common emotional trap happens after a trade seems done. You released crypto, then the other person messages: “Bank reversal is processing. Send back ₦ now or you’ll be reported.” The goal is to make you act on fear—outside the venue—where the evidence trail breaks.
How the pressure script works
- They claim they can reverse a transfer instantly (often exaggerated).
- They send a screenshot of a “reversal request” or fake support chat.
- They push you to refund to a different account (classic off-platform routing).
What to do instead
- Keep communication inside the venue order chat.
- If a dispute is necessary, open it through the venue’s official flow—don’t negotiate refunds in DMs.
- Archive evidence privately (redacted if you share publicly) and do not share OTPs or bank app recordings.
- If you made an error, handle it through official channels; don’t trust “fixers.”
