P2P Network Index Scam Guard: fake appeal links (05/06)

Common NGN P2P trap: a fake support or appeal link. P2P Network Index users should open help only inside the venue app, not DMs, and keep proof in escrow chat.

Scammers don’t need to break escrow—they just need to move you outside it. A common pattern is a DM that claims your order is flagged and you must click an “appeal link” now. That link is often a typosquat designed to steal credentials.

What to do instead

Navigate support from inside the venue app settings, not from chat links.
Keep every money decision inside the official order ticket + escrow chat.
Share only redacted proof if you must post publicly; never share OTPs.
